Since 2011, the SOUTH BOHEMIA JAZZ FESTIVAL, a year-round club project and summer open air event, has been regularly bringing the best of the world and local jazz scene to České Budějovice, Czech Republic. In the last three years, the festival has expanded its program to Hluboká nad Vltavou, where every year the last day of the festival closes this musical event with a special concert. Throughout the year, jazz lovers can enjoy club concerts at the home stage of the festival, at the Hotel Rezidence in Nové Hrady.

During its existence, the South Bohemia Jazz Festival had the honor of hosting a number of legendary performers such as Randy Brecker, Eddie Palmieri, Erik Truffaz, Bobby Watson, Richard Bona, Dave Douglas, Avishai Cohen, David Sanborn, Nicholas Payton, Bill Evans, Jean Luc Ponty and many others.
